Microsoft Roll Out Windows 7 Phone Update

Microsoft have announced that their newest update for Windows 7 Phones is to be rolled out. It will provide users with the ability to cut and paste between Microsoft Office documents. The update will initially only be open to none branded handsets where the providers haven't customised their phones. However operators in the UK have taken the update past the testing stage and now believe it ready to roll out in the coming weeks. “When the update is available for your phone, you’ll get a message on the device letting you know,” said Eric Hautala, general manager of customer experience engineering for Windows Phone 7. The update will also provide some other functionality, including allowing faster access to apps and a streamlined search function on Windows MarketPlace. In addition to this there will be stronger Facebook integration and improved capabilities for viewing photo attachments in Outlook.
