Invesco Perpetual To Make Fund Range RDR-Friendly

Invesco Perpetual have announced that they will be making their fund range entirely RDR-friendly as they look to extend share classes which do not pay commission on its gross distributing fixed income funds. The company originally began launching the no-trail share classes back in May 2007, claiming that they are "key to providing commercial and operational flexibility to its investors and their advisers." They now aim to extend it across all of their funds by the middle of next year. The classes traditionally carry a 1% annual management charge in addition to pay ing rebates to distributors and other platforms. In a statement Invesco claimed "The upcoming regulatory changes present a period of evolution for the industry and the Invesco Perpetual fund range will be well positioned to support a wide variety of operating models providing investors and their advisers choice and flexibility."
