LANDesk to establish financial services centre in Dublin

In Dublin, an international financial services centre will be established by the IT security and service management company LANDesk. 15 new jobs are in the offering from the centre and the focus will be on the management of international finance functions across EMEA, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. Order to cash processing, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger processing, legal, audit and taxation compliance are among some of the functions managed from Dublin. Mark McBride, chief financial officer, LANDesk Software said: "This move to establish an international financial services centre in Dublin is an important part of our growth strategy. This new centre will become the primary financial operations hub in LANDesk's international structure and will be responsible for up to 50% of worldwide revenue.” He further added that the decision to locate in Dublin was based on a combination of a talented, multi-lingual workforce, a strong ICT and financial services cluster and the ability of Ireland to meet the needs of companies such as LANDesk seeking a hub for international operations.
