14 Apr Microsoft Promote Former Senior VP of Microsoft Office Department

Microsoft have announced the appointment of their former Senior Vice President of their Microsoft Office department, Chris Capossela, to the head of a new business unit which is responsible for marketing and service development for all of Microsoft's products. He will oversee the marketing efforts for all Microsoft brands, including Windows, Xbox and Microsoft Office, in addition to leading a new consumer channels group which will work to  create "new business opportunities and deliver exciting consumer experiences," according to a statement released by Microsoft. Capossela, who has been at the company for 20 years, has previously marketed brands like Microsoft Office, Office 365 and also oversaw the rollout of the Make It Great campaign for Office 2010.
